Job summary

Amazon Leo Europe Consumer is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to lead data analysis and build pipelines for automated dashboards and reporting. The role emphasizes handling large data sets, geo-spatial data, and collaboration with stakeholders to drive consumer business decisions.

The candidate should excel in data visualization, automation, and end-to-end analytical workflows, with a strong ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in CS/Engineering/Math/Statistics/Economics or related field.
• Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate data to business needs.
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
• Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis.
• Experience with data modelling, warehousing and building data pipelines.
• Preferred: experience with geo-spatial data.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large data sets to identify patterns, understand drivers, and generate insights for demand, retention, service plan mix, and seasonality models
• Write queries to extract data and insights combining datasets within Amazon Leo with publicly available datasets
• Design, build, and maintain automated reporting, dashboards, and recurrent analysis in support of data driven decisions across business operations
• Identify opportunities for automation to accelerate insight generation
• Analyze and create visualization of large geo-spatial data to drive subscriber growth strategies
• Leverage Amazon systems and tools to effectively work with, process, and analyze large datasets
• Deliver comprehensive, written strategy documents considering different types of data and inputs across a broad range of stakeholders
