Job summary

Amazon is seeking a data analytics professional to work with large datasets and advanced BI tools in a fast-paced environment. You will design data models, ETL pipelines, and deliver BI outputs using Redshift, Tableau, Power BI, and cloud technologies.

You will partner with stakeholders to identify strategic opportunities in decision intelligence, apply AI-assisted development tools, and help accelerate data analysis and automation within the AWS ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, or similar technologies.
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, QuickSight, or similar tools.
• Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, or Power BI
• Experience with statistical methods such as t-test and chi-squared.
• Experience with a scripting language such as Python, Java, or R.
• Experience with SQL.
• Experience in the data/BI space.
• Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design.
• Experience with statistical analysis and correlation analysis.
• Masters degree or advanced technical degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with large datasets and distributed computing technologies.
• Analyze large volumes of data in highly complex technical contexts.
• Design data models, ETL solutions, and business intelligence outputs.
• Work hands-on with columnar databases such as Redshift and related AWS technologies.
• Partner with customers to identify strategic opportunities in decision intelligence.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate pipeline development, data analysis, and automation.
• Build AI skills and agents within the Amazon internal ecosystem, including AIM and MCP integrations.
• Surface data insights through AI-powered experiences such as Amazon Q and Quick AI features.
• Explore agentic architectures for complex data workflows.
• Extend AI tools by creating reusable components and applying AI to business problems.
• Work as a self-starter in a fast-paced team that continually learns and evolves.
