BI Analyst - Turn Data into Strategy

Job summary

Valeo Foods UK is hiring a Graduate Business Intelligence Analyst in Leeds (or Wallingford) with occasional travel. You will turn diverse data into clear insights to support decisions across the business, working with the Head of Business Intelligence and stakeholders at all levels.

The role blends reporting, analysis, and stakeholder engagement: monthly category reports, scorecards, 4-weekly insights, and cross-source data integration.

Qualifications

• A degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Marketing or similar (or equivalent experience).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence turning data into a clear narrative.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Exposure to data platforms like Nielsen, Circana, Dunnhumby, Kantar or Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly reporting including category reports, brand scorecards and performance packs.
• Lead on 4-weekly CSI insight creation with clear recommendations.
• Over time, own 1–2 categories for performance insight.
• Integrate internal data, retailer data and external data sources into reporting.
• Manage relationships with data partners and agencies for accuracy.
• Contribute to standardising the Valeo way of business intelligence across teams.
• Train teams on how to use data effectively.
• Contribute to strategy cycles and planning with relevant insights.
