Job summary

Pod Talent Ltd. is partnering with a growing consumer goods business to recruit a Data Analyst in South-West London (3 days in the office). The role offers a chance to shape the analytics capability, consolidate data from multiple sources, develop dashboards, and automate reporting to drive data-led decision-making.

You will work closely with Commercial Finance, Sales, Marketing and Operations to turn complex data into actionable insights, supporting commercial decisions and business performance.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, Commercial Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or similar analytical role.
• Strong Power BI experience, with working knowledge of Power Query, SQL, and advanced Excel.
• Experience working with multiple data sources and transforming complex datasets into meaningful insights and visualisations.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large datasets and spreadsheets.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Collect, consolidate, validate, and analyse data from multiple internal and external sources, including sales, finance, and market data.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting tools that provide clear, actionable business insights.
• Build scalable reporting processes and identify opportunities to automate manual tasks using analytics and AI tools.
• Partner with Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to support commercial decision-making and business performance.
• Deliver analysis on trends, opportunities, and performance drivers to support strategic initiatives and continuous improvement.

This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to help shape the company's analytics capability and drive more data-led decision-making.
