Job summary

TMX Group (Trayport) is seeking a highly capable Business Intelligence Analyst in London to translate messy data into actionable insights. You will design and maintain dashboards using Tableau, collaborate with diverse teams, and drive data storytelling for strategic decisions.

Must be proficient in SQL and Snowflake, comfortable with automation and Git, and able to navigate ambiguous data environments. This role is based at 2 Gresham Street, London, with a strong emphasis on governance and data

Qualifications

• End-to-End Analytics: design, develop & maintain dashboards/reports using Tableau.
• Stakeholder collaboration across departments, translating data into actionable insights.
• Data storytelling: extract insights from messy data and present clear narratives.
• Database management: write/optimize queries in SQL Server and Snowflake.
• Data governance & quality: promote data governance, accuracy, security.
• Automation & scripting: build data pipelines and automate workflows; use AI tools where suitable.
• Code management: keep code version-controlled with Git.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to translate requirements into analytics solutions.
• Extract meaning from complex datasets and present clear insights for executive decisions.
• Write and optimize SQL queries in SQL Server and Snowflake environments.
• Champion data governance, quality, and security across the org.
• Develop automated data pipelines and leverage tooling for efficiency.
