Job summary

Trayport Limited in London seeks a highly capable BI professional to join our growing BI team. You will transform messy data into clear insights that inform market, product, operational and financial decisions.

As a bridge between data infrastructure and business units, you will design end-to-end analytics, collaborate with stakeholders, and build robust dashboards in Tableau and Power BI while ensuring data governance and scalable pipelines.

Qualifications

• Experience using Tableau/Power BI in a commercial analytics role.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Strong data governance and data literacy knowledge.
• Proficient SQL for robust data extraction.
• Python or .NET for data manipulation.
• Experience with Git and deployment workflows.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and improving data quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports in Tableau.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments.
• Provide data storytelling to guide executive decisions.
• Write and optimize SQL queries in SQL Server and Snowflake.
• Champion data governance, accuracy and security.
• Automate data pipelines and integrate APIs; use AI tools where appropriate.
• Maintain version-controlled code with Git.
