Job summary

London Fire Brigade is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join the Business Analytics team. You will use SQL, DAX and Power BI to deliver clear insights, develop dashboards and data sets for day‑to‑day needs and longer term improvements.

You will support external reporting and respond to urgent requests from senior stakeholders. The role requires in‑person attendance at LFB HQ or fire stations at least two days per week, with hybrid working options and a focus on high data

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL, DAX and BI tools (Power BI) to develop dashboards and analyses.
• Experience with multiple data sources (Excel, MS Lists, Access Databases, Data Warehouses).
• Ability to identify trends, patterns and anomalies and present data with accessible visuals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and data sets for daily operations and strategic improvement.
• Support statutory and external reporting requirements and respond to senior stakeholder requests.
• Ensure data is managed and presented to high standards and contribute to data capability growth.
