Job summary

IPS in Sherburn-in-Elmet, England, is seeking a confident Production Line Leader for a permanent, full-time role. The position leads a shift-based team, sets up the line, performs start-up and safety checks, and ensures the smooth movement of stock across operations.

You will drive productivity, coach staff and maintain GMP and quality standards. Shift pattern is 06:00–14:00, Monday to Friday, with occasional 14:00–22:00 flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a production line in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong health and safety awareness (H&S).
• Able to train and coach colleagues on the line.
• Experience with KPI monitoring and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Set up the production line each shift, carry out start-up and health and safety checks.
• Control and move stock across operations in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Lead, motivate and support the team to hit production targets.
• Move beverage stock, including heavy lifting, loading and palletising.
• Train colleagues on the line and build capability across the team.
• Ensure finished products meet client specs and quality expectations.
• Monitor KPIs like output, downtime and waste to drive efficiency.
• Drive productivity to deliver production plans in full.
