Job summary

Culina Group Limited’s IPS division seeks a confident Production Line Leader for our Sherburn-in-Elmet site in Yorkshire. You will lead a fast-paced line, ensure safety, meet targets, and drive continuous improvement on daily output. The role is permanent, Monday to Friday 06:00–14:00 with occasional 14:00–22:00 shifts.

You’ll manage stock movement, coach a team and collaborate with agency controllers to optimise productivity and ensure GMP compliance across the operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced production, warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to motivate, coach and develop a team to hit targets.
• Self-motivated and results-driven with ownership mindset.
• Solid understanding of production machinery and processes.
• Strong attention to detail with paperwork and stock accuracy.
• Clear communication at all levels and decisive decision-making.
• Proactive mindset and drive for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Set up the production line each shift and perform start-up and safety checks.
• Control and move stock within the fast-paced warehouse/production area.
• Lead and support the team to achieve targets and maintain performance.
• Move beverage stock, including heavy lifting and palletising as needed.
• Train colleagues and build capability across the line.
• Ensure finished products meet client specs and quality standards.
• Monitor KPIs like output, downtime and waste; identify efficiency gains.
• Drive hourly and daily productivity to deliver plans in full.
• Uphold health, safety, hygiene and quality standards.
• Keep paperwork and systems accurate per procedures.
• Maintain audit readiness and compliance with hygiene standards.
• Promote housekeeping and GMP; ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with agency controllers on workforce planning.
