Job summary

Bradford Children and Families Trust in Bradford is seeking a permanent Best Start Inclusion Practitioner to strengthen early identification and intervention for children with SEND from birth to school entry. You will work with early years settings, health colleagues, and families to promote inclusive practice and smooth transitions into school.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with young children with SEND or developmental needs.
  • Understand early years practice, child development, and inclusive approaches.
  • Build strong relationships with families and professionals.
  • Communicate clearly across multi‑agency teams.

Responsibilities

  • Strengthen SEND partnership working across Bradford Start for Life and health pathways.
  • Promote early identification and intervention through collaborative practice and joint interventions.
  • Support transitions from early years to school with information sharing and continuity for families.
  • Contribute to system-wide improvements and multi‑agency planning.
