Mint Selection Ltd. is seeking experienced BESS Engineers for upcoming long-term contracts on utility-scale battery storage projects. Roles cover electrical and technical work from design through compliant operation.

Responsibilities include supporting electrical design (HV/LV interfaces, transformers, inverters), grid compliance, review of single line diagrams and protection schemes, and coordinating with suppliers, integrators and network operators.

Competenze

• Experience on utility-scale BESS projects in design, technical advisory or delivery roles.
• Understanding of BESS architecture, including PCS, power plant controller and EMS integration.
• Knowledge of grid compliance requirements and safety standards for storage.
• Degree in electrical or power engineering advantageous.

Salary: Competitive day rate depending on experience

Contract length: 12 to 18 month contracts

Mint Selection is speaking with experienced BESS Engineers ahead of upcoming contract requirements on utility-scale battery storage projects. These roles cover the electrical and technical work that takes a storage system from design through to compliant operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the electrical design of utility-scale BESS, including HV and LV interfaces, transformers and inverters
• Work on grid compliance and connection requirements for storage assets
• Review single line diagrams, protection schemes and control systems
• Coordinate with suppliers, integrators and network operators, and support commissioning, testing and performance optimisation

Experience & Qualifications

• Previous experience on utility-scale BESS projects in design, technical advisory or delivery roles
• Understanding of BESS architecture, including PCS, power plant controller and energy management system integration
• Knowledge of grid compliance requirements and the safety standards that apply to storage
• Strong technical documentation and supplier engagement skills - Degree in electrical or power engineering advantageous
