Job summary

Mint Selection Ltd. is seeking experienced BESS Engineers for upcoming long-term contracts on utility-scale battery storage projects. Roles cover electrical and technical work from design through compliant operation.

Responsibilities include supporting electrical design (HV/LV interfaces, transformers, inverters), grid compliance, review of single line diagrams and protection schemes, and coordinating with suppliers, integrators and network operators.

Qualifications

• Experience on utility-scale BESS projects in design, technical advisory or delivery roles.
• Understanding of BESS architecture, including PCS, power plant controller and EMS integration.
• Knowledge of grid compliance requirements and safety standards for storage.
• Degree in electrical or power engineering advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the electrical design of utility-scale BESS, including HV and LV interfaces, transformers and inverters
• Work on grid compliance and connection requirements for storage assets
• Review single line diagrams, protection schemes and control systems
• Coordinate with suppliers, integrators and network operators, and support commissioning, testing and performance optimisation
