Job summary

ERSG Limited seeks an experienced Controls Engineer to support the commissioning, testing and integration of a large-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project.

The role involves commissioning and troubleshooting control systems (PLC/RTU, SCADA, EMS/PMS, BMS interfaces, PCS/inverters) and collaborating with commissioning, electrical, SCADA, protection and OEM teams to ensure a complete BESS control architecture is configured, tested and handed over to the client.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience commissioning energy/power projects (industrial controls).
• CSCS/ECS or equivalent site certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead controls commissioning activities from pre-commissioning to energisation.
• Commission and troubleshoot PLC, RTU, SCADA and plant control systems.
• Configure control logic, interlocks, alarms and trips; verify communications.
