Job summary

Apex Resource Management is seeking a Bespoke Vehicle Configuration Specialist in Woking to steer bespoke vehicle projects from sales requirements to data delivery. You will collaborate across sales, engineering, purchasing, logistics, workshop and production teams to ensure specifications are defined and delivered to quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail in data entry or specification-based environments.
• Experience delivering high levels of customer service.
• Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings.
• Interest in automotive manufacturing and technical products.
• Strong communication across multiple functions.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Attend bespoke enquiry meetings to capture customer requirements.
• Release new vehicle orders to planning and track mandatory requirements.
• Translate customer requirements into detailed project specs.
• Create and maintain service orders, trackers and SAP data.
• Produce supplier drawings and maintain configurable parts in SAP.
• Manage supply route and planning data for bespoke components.
• Support BoM changes aligned with bespoke specs.
• Produce build documentation including paint strategies and post-build modification plans.
• Quality check service orders before release to ensure Right First Time.
• Identify and escalate risks to order quality and throughput.
• Support change management, issue resolution and root cause analysis.
• Support workshop teams with complete specs and work packages.
• Monitor team systems, inboxes and admin processes.
• Lead preparedness activities for nominated vehicle programmes.
• Create templates and standardised work packages to improve efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes and systems.
