Job summary

Reevr is seeking a Vehicle Assembly Technician in Bicester, Oxfordshire. The role involves hands-on assembly of bespoke, low-volume vehicles, working across mechanical, electrical and powertrain systems.

You will follow technical drawings, perform inspections and help improve assembly processes while maintaining a clean, safe workshop and contributing to a high standard of workmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle assembly or a similar hands-on engineering role.
• Good knowledge of vehicle systems.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation.
• Practical, problem-solving approach.
• High standards of quality and workmanship.
• Genuine passion for automotive engineering.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a small, collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Assembling vehicles and vehicle components.
• Working across mechanical, electrical and powertrain systems.
• Completing sub-assemblies and preparing components for production.
• Following technical drawings and build documentation.
• Carrying out inspections and quality checks.
• Identifying and resolving build issues.
• Supporting improvements to assembly processes.
• Working closely with the wider production and engineering teams.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop.
• Supporting the team to ensure builds are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
