Job summary

Progressive Global Energy is seeking a Production Team Leader to supervise a team of workshop technicians in a bespoke manufacturing environment in Newcastle upon Tyne, England.

You will plan workloads, monitor schedules and ensure production targets are met safely and to the required quality standards, with emphasis on HSE and continuous improvement. The role is on-site in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Lead, motivate and manage workshop technicians day to day.
• Plan workloads, delegate tasks and monitor project schedules.
• Maintain high standards of quality, HSE and workmanship.
• Monitor performance and support staff development.
• Resolve operational issues and work with Engineering and Supply Chain.
• Support LEAN manufacturing, continuous improvement and cost reduction.
• Manage customer requirements and suppliers.
