Job summary

Cavendish Professionals is seeking an experienced Freelance Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker to join a workshop team in the Greater London area. The role involves producing high-end bespoke joinery from drawings through to finished pieces, with emphasis on quality and precision.

The ideal candidate will read technical drawings fluently, have strong knowledge of woodworking materials and finishes, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team in a pressurised workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as bench joiner/cabinet maker in bespoke joinery or furniture manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Knowledge of woodworking materials, construction methods and finishes.
• High standard of workmanship with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in high-end residential or commercial joinery is advantageous.
