Job summary

Asper Recruitment are seeking an experienced bench joiner/cabinet maker to join a busy, well-equipped workshop in a full-time role. You will manufacture bespoke joinery and work from production drawings, contributing to high-precision pieces.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' bench joinery experience, be proficient in reading drawings, and bring a strong commitment to quality and safety in a modern workshop environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience in a joinery workshop producing bespoke joinery.
• Ability to read and understand production drawings.
• Comply with Health & Safety policies, including PPE where required.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture bespoke joinery in a busy workshop.
• Read and interpret production drawings accurately.
• Demonstrate senior-level joinery workshop experience.

Job description

My client is an experienced manufacturer in bespoke joinery. My client are looking for a full time, experienced bench joiner/cabinet maker to join there team manufacturing joinery in there well-equipped and modern workshop.

General bench joinery workshop responsibilities:

1. To contribute to maintaining a clean and efficient workshop.
2. To have the flexibility to sometimes vary working hours to suit production needs.
3. To understand and adhere to the company's Health & Safety policy including when the use of PPE is compulsory.
4. To alert the Manufacturing Manager of anything that you feel could affect H&S.
5. To show good time keeping.
6. At least 3 years experience in a joinery workshop producing bespoke joinery.

Role will include:

• Manufacture of bespoke joinery
• Understand and read production drawings
• Senior level joinery workshop experience
