Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing interiors contractor on bespoke fit-out projects in the Croydon area.

You will oversee valuations, variations, invoicing and cost control, while coordinating subcontractors and site teams to keep projects on time and budget. A company bonus and training opportunities accompany a £50,000–£65,000 salary and a clear path for progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in Quantity Surveying within construction, interiors or fit-out.
• Strong understanding of costs, valuations and variations.
• Confident using Excel for reporting and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Manage bespoke fit-out, residential, commercial and heritage projects valued between £100k-£1.5m.
• Take responsibility for commercial and operational delivery of projects.
• Manage valuations, variations, invoicing, procurement and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs and financial performance using Excel.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site teams to stay on programme and budget.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, interior designers and main contractors.
• Support project planning, reporting and commercial reviews.
