Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to join its Derby team, delivering bespoke conveyor systems and special-purpose machinery. You will work with Autodesk Inventor to create layouts, 3D models, and manufacturing drawings for customer-driven projects.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in mechanical design or graduate engineers with strong CAD exposure. On-site role with pension and holiday benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Experience designing machinery with moving parts and assemblies.
• Design experience for conveyors or special-purpose machinery.
• Based within commutable distance of Derby.
• Engineering qualification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design bespoke conveyor systems using Autodesk Inventor.
• Create 3D CAD models and detailed manufacturing drawings.
• Develop concepts and practical solutions for customer projects.
• Support projects from concept to manufacture and assembly.
• Maintain Bills of Materials for machinery.
