Job summary

A well-established joinery company, Allscreens Nationwide Ltd, based in St Ives, is seeking an experienced Bench Joiner/Carpenter to join their modern workshop team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role runs Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm, with responsibilities from prep to completion, including reading drawings and ensuring high-quality bespoke joinery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bench Joiner/Carpenter in bespoke joinery.
• Strong knowledge of traditional and modern joinery methods.
• Confident with hand tools and power tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Cut timber to exact specifications.
• Manufacture and assemble bespoke joinery for installation.
• Interpret technical drawings accurately.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Modify designs to suit client requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and report material issues.
