Job summary

Cavendish Professionals is seeking an experienced Bench Joiner to join its workshop team, manufacturing bespoke joinery for commercial, prime residential and leisure projects. The role involves working from production drawings and AutoCAD, sanding and finishing, and collaborating with the workshop team in a fast-paced environment.

You will use your bench joinery skills, own tools including cordless drills, and reading technical drawings to produce high-quality cabinetry.

Qualifications

• Experience as bench joiner.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and AutoCAD information.
• Own hand tools, including cordless drills.
• Wood machining experience desirable.
• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Bench Joinery preferred.
• Reliable, organised and able to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Time-served candidates considered.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and assemble bespoke joinery and cabinetry.
• Sand, finish and prepare work for spray finishing or dispatch.
• Work from production drawings and AutoCAD information.
• Collaborate with the wider workshop and joinery team.
• Occasional support within the machine shop as required.
