Benefits, Compensation & Payroll Associate Director (Senior / Head / Lead)

Fund Administration Firm

London, City (3 days in the office, 2 WFH)

GBP90-115k + Package + Shares Equity

Permanent, 35 hours per week

Management of 10 team members across benefits and payroll in 22 countries; overseeing a global headcount of 2,000. Managing teams in the US, Jersey, and other EMEA locations. The environment is entrepreneurial, requiring flexibility and strategic thinking to challenge existing processes. The firm is growing through acquisitions.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Collaborating with senior HR leadership and reporting to the Global Head of Rewards, ensuring strategic HR goals are met.
  2. Managing outsourced benefits brokerage relationships and supplier performance, with proven experience in this area.
  3. Leading the global onboarding of ADP across all locations, with prior experience in implementing ADP globally.
  4. Managing a team of 10 across different regions, including performance management and career development.
  5. Driving transformational change, moving from manual, excel-based processes to automated, digital solutions.
  6. Supporting company growth by enhancing benefits offerings and educating stakeholders to improve employee attraction and retention.
  7. Conducting market research and maintaining external relationships to stay informed on industry standards, policies, and legislation.

About you:

  1. Over 10 years of management experience in benefits and payroll within professional or financial services firms.
  2. Accounting qualification or a Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, finance, or related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  3. Strategic thinker with experience in implementing change and transformation.
  4. Proven knowledge of global processes, with recent experience managing a global team.
  5. Availability to work in London City offices, with 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH (Monday & Tuesday in the office).
  6. Eligible to work in the UK; sponsorship is not available for this role.
  7. Experience supporting a firm through multiple annual pay cycles.
