Job summary

We Are Zenith is seeking an experienced Bench Joiner to produce bespoke joinery from detailed drawings in a busy Sunderland workshop. You will use a range of machines and hand tools to cut, shape, assemble, and finish high-quality components.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or with a team. Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines; benefits include a company pension and free parking.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years post-qualification bench joinery experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Proficient in operating standard workshop machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture bespoke joinery items from drawings.
• Operate joinery machinery, hand and power tools.
• Assemble, sand, and finish components to a high standard.
• Maintain accuracy, efficiency, and quality throughout production.
• Collaborate with colleagues and keep a clean, safe workshop.
