Job summary

Five Guys in the United Kingdom is seeking a Bench General Manager to oversee store operations and lead dynamic teams. You will manage daily performance, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive profitability while upholding our burger-and-fries standard.

You will be hands-on on the shop floor, coaching Crew and Managers, owning the P&L, and delivering strong sales growth across the district. This role offers opportunities for progression and development within a growing family business.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or foodservice management
• Strong leadership and coaching skills
• Proven ability to drive sales and manage costs

In some of our stores, there is a talented Bench General Manager who is waiting for their own store. While waiting for your own store you will be based at one of our existing stores supporting the current General Manager and potentially other stores within the district. You will be accountable for the stores day to day operations and results. This includes; leading, inspiring and coaching the teams to ensure the restaurant delivers profitability, and optimises all sales opportunities while delivering an excellent level of customer service.

AS A BENCH GENERAL MANAGER YOU'LL BE

• Accountable and responsible for your entire store and the people within
• Developing and managing the store team, while supporting the delivery of perfect burgers and fries
• You will be expected to lead from the front, you will be hands-on at times which means jumping in and working on the line shoulder to shoulder with our Crew and Managers
• Having full ownership of your P&L, which means you will need to drive sales whilst controlling costs
• Your store will need to run smoothly on the day-to-day operations and think about long term planning
• Spotting potential and developing your team to ensure there is a strong talent pipeline
