InterContinental Dominica Cabrits Resort & Spa is seeking a Bell Person to warmly welcome guests, assist with luggage and guide guests to rooms. You will maintain a polished appearance and coordinate with Front Office and Concierge teams to ensure seamless service.

The role requires strong communication and English language skills, physical stamina for lifting and standing, and a professional, team-oriented attitude in a luxury resort environment. Outdoor work may be required in varied weather.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hotel, resort or customer-service experience is an advantage.
• Experience in bell service, porter, concierge or front-office duties is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of hotel operations and guest services.
• Good written and spoken English, strong communication and customer-service skills; additional languages are an asset.

Responsibility

• Welcome guests upon arrival and assist during departures.
• Handle, transport and deliver guest luggage safely.
• Escort guests to rooms and explain basic hotel facilities.

Experience and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hotel, resort or customer-service experience is an advantage.
• Experience in bell service, porter, concierge or front-office duties is preferred.
• Valid driver's licence is an asset where driving duties are required.
• Basic knowledge of hotel operations and guest services.
• Physically capable of lifting luggage, walking and standing for extended periods.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude and attention to detail.
• Respect for guest privacy and confidentiality.
• Comfortable working under pressure and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills are an advantage.
• Good written and spoken English, strong communication and customer-service skills; additional languages are an asset.
