Job summary

Veritas Education Recruitment Ltd is seeking a dedicated Behavioural Support Assistant for a role in Hackney, East London. You will support pupils with SEMH needs, working 1:1 and in small groups to promote positive behaviour and resilience.

The position is full-time, term-time only, with a daily rate of £90–£120 and typical hours 8:30–16:30, Monday to Friday. A proactive, patient approach and relevant experience are desirable for applicants aiming to careers in education, psychology, or youth

Qualifications

• Experience or training in behaviour management or manual handling (preferred).
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Genuine interest in supporting young people.

Behavioural Support Assistant Requirements:

• Genuine interest in supporting young people
• Patient, calm, and proactive approach
• Experience or training in behaviour management or manual handling (preferred)
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience with children or young people (desirable)
• Ideal for aspiring Youth Workers, Behaviour Mentors, Teachers, or Psychologists
