The role is full-time, term-time only, ASAP start. Experience in SEMH settings and strong de-escalation skills are valued; Enhanced DBS is required, and you will work with teachers and SENCOs to maintain a safe, structured environment.

Are you a confident, resilient and experienced Behaviour Teaching Assistant who can build strong relationships with young people and manage challenging behaviour effectively?
We are recruiting for a Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join a specialist boys' SEMH school in Wandsworth, supporting secondary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and challenging behaviour.
This role would suit someone who is calm under pressure, confident setting boundaries and able to use positive behaviour support and de-escalation strategies to help pupils manage their emotions and engage with education.
You don't necessarily need previous classroom experience. If you have strong hands-on experience managing challenging behaviour and supporting young people, we'd like to hear from you.
This role is subject to appropriate safeguarding checks, including an Enhanced DBS disclosure.
