Job summary

The Milton Keynes Academy is seeking a caring, resilient Behaviour Support Mentor to support students with behavioural, social and emotional needs. The role focuses on promoting wellbeing, safeguarding, and inclusive practices within a dynamic school environment in Milton Keynes.

You will work with a dedicated team to help students overcome barriers to learning, maintaining calm, professional interactions and building strong relationships with pupils and families.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students in educational or pastoral settings.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting wellbeing.
• Ability to work in challenging situations with resilience.

Responsibilities

• Support students to overcome barriers to learning and promote positive behaviour.
• Contribute to safeguarding, inclusion, and student wellbeing initiatives.
• Build positive relationships with students, families, colleagues and external agencies.
