Protocol Education is looking for Behaviour Support Assistants for short-term roles in Huddersfield schools starting this September. We’re on the lookout for calm, confident Behaviour Support Assistants to work in Huddersfield schools this September. These are short-term roles—perfect if you're looking to gain experience, build school relationships, or make a difference without a long-term commitment.
Supporting pupils with behavioural needs, either 1:1 or in small groups
Building trust and promoting positive choices
Working alongside SENCOs, class teachers, and pastoral teams
Helping to create a calm, focused learning environment
Someone with patience, empathy, and clear boundaries
Experience in behaviour support, youth work, or SEND (desirable but not essential)
A team player who stays cool under pressure
Someone who shows up, listens, and genuinely wants to help
Weekly pay through PAYE – no umbrella faff

Friendly, hands-on support from a local consultant

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
