Job Title: Behaviour Support Assistant – Short-Term Roles

Salary: £83–£91 per day (reflective of National Minimum Wage, paid via PAYE)
Contract: Full-time, Short-Term

We’re on the lookout for calm, confident Behaviour Support Assistants to work in Huddersfield schools this September. These are short-term roles—perfect if you're looking to gain experience, build school relationships, or make a difference without a long-term commitment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting pupils with behavioural needs, either 1:1 or in small groups

• Building trust and promoting positive choices

• Working alongside SENCOs, class teachers, and pastoral teams

• Helping to create a calm, focused learning environment

What schools are looking for:

• Someone with patience, empathy, and clear boundaries

• Experience in behaviour support, youth work, or SEND (desirable but not essential)

• A team player who stays cool under pressure

• Someone who shows up, listens, and genuinely wants to help
