Behaviour Support Assistant Role at Prospero Teaching

Prospero Teaching is currently seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to provide person-centred support to individuals with high levels of complex needs and challenging behaviours related to learning disabilities, autistic spectrum conditions, and mental health issues. You will work in a school environment, supporting children and young people who require 1:1 assistance for various reasons.

Contract / Position Details:
  • Location – Crewe
  • Position – Behaviour Support Assistant
  • Full-time, 8:30am to 3:30pm daily
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children and young people exhibiting challenging behaviour
  • De-escalation training experience is advantageous
  • Candidates from youth work backgrounds or similar roles are encouraged to apply
  • Confidence in decision-making
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with students
  • Empathy and understanding
  • Willingness to develop skills through professional training and development

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK
