Job summary

Academics Ltd in Strood is partnering with a mainstream primary school to recruit a Behaviour Support Specialist (KS1) for a full-time, long-term role. You will support pupils with SEN, including ASD and ADHD, in a KS1 classroom, promoting positive behaviour and inclusive learning.

Successful candidates will have experience with behavioural needs, strong communication, and a caring, empathetic approach. The role offers potential permanent opportunities and a supportive consultant network.

Qualifications

A mainstream primary school in Strood is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistants with a real passion for working with children with special education needs, in particular Behaviour and SEMH.

This is a full time position on a long term basis.

The school promotes the significance of valuing every child as an individual and celebrating all achievements and efforts made in curricular and extra-curricular activities. The school has a real community feel, with positive relationships and good communication amongst staff and parents being imperative as a whole school view.
