Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in leadership, communication and professionalism is essential.
• Background in Armed Forces, emergency services, youth work, care or similar environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide individual and/or group support for students at risk of disaffection or disengagement.
• Support students in developing skills to demonstrate positive behaviour for learning in the classroom.
• Identify when a student is struggling emotionally and refer concerns as appropriate.
• Maintain a positive, nurturing atmosphere that supports all students to engage with learning.
• Support the reduction of suspensions and improved attendance for identified students.
