Job summary

Term Time Teachers Ltd in Bexhill is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to help pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD and behavioural challenges achieve their full potential. You will work closely with pupils to implement personalised strategies and provide emotional and learning support throughout the school day.

The role is on-site, with term-time hours 08:30–15:30, Monday to Friday, paying £92.56 per day.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people in any capacity (youth work, care, mentoring, etc.).
• Calm, patient and supportive approach.
• Confidence in managing challenging behaviour with professionalism and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with pupils who require emotional, behavioural and learning support.
• Implement personalised behaviour strategies and support plans.
• Build strong, trusting relationships to help pupils regulate, feel safe and succeed.
• Support students in the classroom, during interventions and throughout the school day.
• Collaborate with Teachers, the SENCO and external professionals to ensure consistent support.
• Help create a calm, positive and structured learning environment.
