1‑to‑1 Behaviour Support – motivate and mentor individual pupils so they stay engaged and progress.
Small‑Group Interventions – deliver targeted activities that build social skills and positive behaviour.
Multi‑School Coverage – use your own car to travel between primary and secondary schools in Cardiff & the Vale, adapting to new settings each day.
Collaborative Planning – work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, parents and outside agencies to design and review personalised support plans.
Positive Classroom Culture – model calm, consistent routines that create safe, inclusive learning environments.
Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH / behavioural needs.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Flexibility to work across multiple Vale of Glamorgan schools.
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) and Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration.
Qualifications in education, psychology, counselling or related field.
Knowledge of PBIS, restorative practices, Team‑Teach or other behaviour‑management frameworks.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
