Job summary

Co-op Academy Walkden in Worsley, Manchester, is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to join our pastoral team. You will deliver a range of interventions, including one-to-one and small-group work, and you will lead the supervision of the Reset facility to support pupil engagement and reduce withdrawal from lessons.

This permanent role offers a salary of £24,817 to £27,368 (26/27 cost of living increase pending), a DBS-check requirement, and a commitment to safeguarding and equality.

At Co-op Academy Walkden, we are looking to appoint a talented individual who can build on our current success and support and ambitious vision for the future as the Academy’s Behaviour Support Assistant . This role will provide behaviour support for the wider pastoral team by delivering a range of interventions, including one to one, small group, as well as leading the supervision of our Reset facility

This is a great opportunity to gain further experience or begin your first role in a pastoral team.

To provide behaviour support for the wider pastoral team by running the supervision of our Reset facility in a team of two, as well as delivering a range of interventions to support pupils engagement with school.

The work of this team is focused on the promotion of positive attitudes and behaviours, helping pupils become classroom ready, and reducing the frequency of pupils requiring withdrawal from lessons.
