Job summary

GSL Education is recruiting a Behaviour Support Assistant to work across various secondary schools in Leicestershire. The role focuses on de-escalation, promoting positive behaviour and offering one-on-one or small-group support to help students stay engaged in learning.

The ideal candidate will have experience with young people with behavioural needs, hold a valid DBS (update service) or be willing to apply, and possess patience and strong communication skills.

• Driving licence is beneficial for access to different schools.

Responsibilities

• De-escalate situations and promote positive behaviour.
