Job summary

Milk Education is seeking a Behaviour Specialist for a mainstream primary school in Liverpool to support pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviours. This role requires resilience, initiative, and a commitment to helping young people re-engage with learning.

You will work closely with teaching staff to provide de-escalation, regulation, and restorative strategies, building trust and consistency through clear boundaries and positive relationships in a safe, structured environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in PRUs, SEMH schools, or youth work settings.
  • Confidence in managing behaviour and promoting emotional regulation.
  • Proactive, solution‑focused mindset and strong team ethic.
  • Ability to stay calm, consistent, and compassionate in high‑pressure situations.
