Milk Education is currently working in partnership with a specialist Alternative Provision setting in Middlesbrough to recruit a committed and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join their team on a full-time basis.
This setting supports young people who have been excluded, are at risk of exclusion, or present with social, emotional and mental health needs. Many learners have experienced disrupted education and require consistent role models who can help them re-engage with learning and build positive relationships.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a key role in supporting students both inside and outside the classroom. You will be responsible for helping to manage behaviour, de‑escalating challenging situations, and providing consistent emotional and academic support to help pupils access learning.
You will work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to implement behaviour strategies, support reintegration into lessons, and encourage positive choices throughout the school day.
