Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Behaviour Mentor for a nurturing SEMH provision in South Manchester. The role involves supporting secondary-aged pupils with SEMH needs using a trauma-informed approach.

You will be active in classrooms, build strong relationships, and set clear boundaries to manage behaviour. Relevant Team Teach level and safeguarding training are preferred and training can be provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a PRU or SEMH setting.
• Team Teach Level 2 is highly desired, but training can be provided.
• Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided).
• A genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEMH needs.

Location - South Manchester

Pay - £105-£120 per day, dependent on experience and responsibilities

Hours - Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:45pm

Are you a calm and resilient behaviour mentor seeking a new role? We are working with a nurturing SEMH provision in North Manchester to recruit an experienced behaviour mentor to join the team.

The school supports secondary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, offering a trauma-informed approach.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:

• Be active and visible in the classroom, offering a relational approach that prioritises safety and emotional regulation
• Build strong relationships that support engagement and progress
• Set clear boundaries and effectively manage behaviour

What we are looking for:

To be eligible you must:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
