Job summary

Educato Recruitment is seeking confident, patient and resilient Behaviour Support Assistants to work within secondary SEMH settings across Greater Manchester. This role would suit someone who understands that behaviour is often a form of communication and can remain calm, consistent and supportive when working with young people who may struggle to regulate their emotions or engage with education.

We're particularly interested in people with experience in SEMH, alternative provision, behaviour

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people with behavioural, emotional or additional needs.
• Ability to use positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques.
• Calm, consistent and approachable demeanour.
• Ability to build trust while maintaining clear boundaries.

You'll play an important part in helping pupils feel safe, build positive relationships and manage challenging situations, supporting them to get the most out of their school day.
