Job summary

Long Term Futures Ltd in Dudley is looking for an experienced Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive primary school on a long-term basis. You will work with pupils with SEMH needs, Autism and behavioural challenges, delivering 1:1 and small-group support in class and in break-out spaces.

You will help students manage emotions, follow routines and use positive strategies to boost engagement, while supporting EHCP targets and working alongside teachers and the SENCO.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting primary-aged children with SEND or SEMH.
• Confidence managing challenging behaviour and emotional dysregulation.
• Experience with Autism, ADHD or behavioural needs.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils.

Responsibilities

Long Term Futures are looking for an experienced Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive primary school in Dudley on a long-term basis.

You will work with pupils who have social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, Autism and behavioural difficulties, providing consistent support within the classroom, in small groups and on a 1:1 basis.

This is a great opportunity for someone who understands the importance of building positive relationships, managing challenging behaviour and helping children develop the confidence and emotional regulation skills needed to succeed in school.

In this role, you will:
