Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a Behaviour Mentor in Chelmsford to support students aged 11-16 with SEN needs. The role runs 8:30am-4:30pm across schools and community settings, including home visits. You will build trust, implement consistent routines and support emotional regulation and behaviour management.

The successful candidate will encourage engagement in education and personal development, acting as a positive role model across settings to help pupils develop long-term, positive outcomes.

Behaviour mentor required in Chelmsford supporting students aged 11-16 with SEN needs

Behaviour mentor role: 8:30am-4:30pm in Chelmsford

Pay: £120-£150 per day

Role responsibilities:
  • Behaviour mentor allocated to one child with SEN needs (1:1 support)
  • Behaviour mentor to build trust, consistency, and positive routines
  • Behaviour mentor to support emotional regulation and behaviour management
  • Behaviour mentor to encourage engagement in education and personal development
  • Behaviour mentor to act as a positive role model
