Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor for a school-based role in Chelmsford, Essex. You will provide one-to-one support to a student aged 11-16 with SEN, helping to build trust, routine and emotional regulation while promoting positive engagement in education.

The role runs 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday, in various settings including schools, community centres and the pupil's home. A calm, proactive and resilient approach is essential to make a long-term impact.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work across different settings (schools, community centres, home).
  • Commitment to long-term impact and development of the student.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 support to a single student with SEN.
  • Help build trust, consistency and positive routines.
  • Support emotional regulation and behaviour management.
  • Encourage engagement in education and personal development.
  • Act as a positive role model for the student.
