Job summary

GSL Education is recruiting a Behaviour Mentor for a Brentwood primary school. This full-time, immediate-start role supports a child with SEN, providing both academic and emotional help throughout the day.

You will work 1:1 with the pupil, assist with behaviour management, build a trusting relationship, and collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies in a safe, engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

  • Patient, empathetic, and proactive individual.
  • Experience working with children or young people (school-based or similar preferred).
  • Strong behaviour management skills or a willingness to learn.
  • Genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
  • Graduates or aspiring teachers/psychologists encouraged to apply.

Are you passionate about making a real difference in a child's life?

We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join a welcoming primary school in Brentwood. This is a full-time, immediate start role supporting a child with Special Educational Needs,providing both academic and emotional support throughout the school day.

The Role

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:

  • Work 1:1 with a pupil with SEN, supporting their learning and development
  • Help manage and positively influence behaviour in and out of the classroom
  • Build a strong, trusting relationship to support emotional regulation

What We're Looking For

Pay & Benefits
  • £90 - £110 per day (depending on experience)
