  • - Encourage positive interactions, independence and appropriate social skills throughout the school day.
  • - Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff and pastoral teams to maintain consistent approaches to pupil support.
  • - Observe and communicate changes in pupil behaviour, engagement and wellbeing to relevant school staff.
  • - Follow the school's safeguarding and behaviour policies, reporting concerns promptly and appropriately.
  • - Previous experience in behaviour mentoring or a relevant school-based support role.
  • - An understanding of behaviour support strategies and the importance of consistency, patience and positive reinforcement.
  • - The ability to build supportive, professional relationships with pupils who require additional guidance.
