Job summary

Exclusive Education are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work at a Secondary behavioural school in Woolton supporting pupils in KS3 and KS4 with challenging behaviour. The role starts in September and will go direct with the school.

The ideal candidate will have TA experience with behavioural difficulties and KS3-5 experience. A current DBS with update service is preferred or willingness to apply for a new one.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3) (desirable).
• Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
• Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years.
• Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Previous KS3, 4 and 5 experience.
• Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs and challenging behaviour.
• Two references working with children.
• Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
