Job summary

Exclusive Education are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils in KS3 and KS4 at an all boys secondary behavioral school in Huyton. The role starts in September and runs on an ongoing basis.

The ideal candidate will have TA experience with behavioral difficulties, UK work eligibility, and a current DBS registered with update service or willingness to apply for a new one; two references are required.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
• Relevant Teaching Assistant experience with behavioral difficulties.
• DBS registered with update service or willing to apply for a new one.
• Two references working with children.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in KS3 and KS4 with challenging behavior.
• Assist with the full curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Work with the school team on safeguarding and behavior management.

Job description

Exclusive Education are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work at an all boys Secondary Behavioral school in Huyton supporting pupils in KS3 and KS4 with challenging behavior. This role is to start in September and will be to work on an on-going basis.

The ideal candidate will have previous Teaching Assistant experience, working with pupils with Behavioral Difficulties. Previous experience working with pupils with challenging behaviors is desirable.

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;

• Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3) (desirable)
• Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
• Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years
• Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Previous KS3, 4 and 5 experience
• Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs and challenging behavior
• Two references working with children
• Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
