The Farley Center is seeking a dedicated Driver to coordinate and safely transport clients to and from facility programming, appointments, and events in Williamsburg, Virginia. The role includes monitoring client behavior, reporting emergencies, and providing timely communications to the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and may require CPR, de-escalation training, and first aid depending on state/facility needs.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One or more years' relevant work experience in behavioral facility preferred.
• Valid and in good standing state driver's license required.
• CPR and de-escalation certification may be required.
• First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Drives company vehicles for admissions, appointments, events and transport.
• Ensures all passengers wear seatbelts before starting the vehicle.
• Maintain supervision of clients during transport and follow safety policies.
• Charts in client records and provides handover reports to oncoming shift.
• Maintains vehicle logs and reports any maintenance issues.
• Responds to behavioral events and assists with crises when needed.
