Job summary

Summit BHC in Williamsburg, VA seeks a Registered Nurse for 7a-7p PRN shifts at The Farley Center. You will provide nursing care, supervise LPNs/CNAs, and develop individual care plans, ensuring safety and accurate documentation.

You will administer meds, assess patients, and collaborate with the treatment team, educating families and coordinating with providers. This role is onsite with competitive pay and benefits as described.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing.
• One or more years’ nursing experience in clinical or behavioral health settings.
• Knowledge of psychotropic medications and administration procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan nursing care for clients and re-assess as needed.
• Administer medications with two client identifiers.
• Monitor client status and communicate changes to providers.
• Document accurately in medical records and hand off reports.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and educate families.
